The test is based on the detection of agglutination reactions formed by IgG and IgM antibodies against B. abortus, B. melitensis, and B. suis in patient serum, using gel centrifugation in a Coombs medium. The Brucella gel test kit includes the gel card and the corresponding solution required for the procedure.
